A mother is music; a mother is love.
She would sing like an angel, from the
heavens above.
As a child it was gentle on my ears, soothing my mind.
If I ever were wrong, it would be hard on my behind.
A mother is strength; a mother is a pillar.
If I needed her at any time, I just had to tell her.
As I grew bigger, stronger and taller in part,
I knew her strength was not muscle, but her heart.
A mother is truth; a mother is the way.
Whenever I had a question, she had something to say.
She guided me, down the truth and honesty path.
If I got caught in a lie, it was the breadboard’s wrath.
A mother is life; a mother is giving.
She gave me a great start, helped me create a good living.
She’s so good, she’s unnecessary now in my day-to-day.
But she’s always welcome in my life, just a visit, or to stay.
A mother is now, a mother is forever.
She stood by me through failure, ‘til a successful endeavor.
I remember each illness, or bad day you got me through.
You must remember this; I will always love you.
