Mr. Danner was born March 13, 1924, in Schuyler County, Ill., the son of Jesse S. and Lola (Sarver) Danner. He married Dixie Miller in 1953 and they were divorced. He married Maxine Daniels in 1973 and they were divorced. He worked as an operating engineer through Operating Engineers International Union Local 150, Rock Island, for several years, retiring in 1990. He previously worked at Canteen Corporation and Coopman Construction Company.
Jesse was one of the original members of the Blackhawk Aquarium Society and a member of the American Budgie Association. He dearly loved his two Boston Terriers, Lady and Jo Jo, and enjoyed ceramics, cards, and Nascar racing.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Lola Danner, Pittsfield, Ill.; a sister and brother-in-law, Janette and Clinton Morehouse, Moline; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Nancy Danner, Clarksville, Tenn., and Thomas and Beverly Danner, Grand Terrace, Calif.; 17 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and great-nephews; a stepgrandson and a step-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Margie Cutrel.
