Richard was born July 26, 1927, in Rock Island, the son of Edward and Ida Trommer Cramer. He married Margaret Birdsall Markor in September 1990.
Richard was a drill-press operator at IH, East Moline, retiring some 20 years ago.
He was a member and elder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in East Moline, a member of the Model Railroad Club of the Quad Cities, and a volunteer for the Church of Jesus Christ Genealogical Library in Davenport for many years. He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as bird watching, gardening, and farming on his small farm near Orion.
Richard is survived by his wife; daughter, Carolee Rohr, Florida; son, Richard Cramer Jr., Madisonville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Hoffman, Rock Island, and Barbara Cramer, Milan; brothers, Robert, William and Donald Cramer, all of Milan, and Carl Cramer, Rock Island; and stepsons, David Hall, Rock Island, Keith Hall, Bettendorf, Rodney Markor, Monmouth, and Jay Markor, Indianapolis, Ind. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty J. Cramer; and brother, Edward A. Cramer. |
